While you are in chiropractic school, keep
in contact with people you already know. There are always people
we feel more connected with than others; these people are great
sources of support and information. Maintaining relationships
with these people may also be a benefit to you as you start practice.
• Former undergrad classmates.
Where are they now? Are some living in the area you are considering
as a practice location?
• People from your hometown.
Are you going back there to practice? Are high school classmates
living in the town you’re considering for practice?
• Chiropractors and other
professionals. Were you referred to your chiropractic
school by a doctor? Do you or your family know or work with other
professionals (attorneys, CPAs, bankers, insurance agents)?
