Project No. 1
You’ve probably heard this saying or a variant more than
once: “Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail.” You may
be sure this is true, but you don’t know how to get started
planning for your practice so you can be successful.
We at Chiropractic Economics want
to help. And there’s no time like the present. In each issue
of this newsletter we’ll present you with several specific
planning elements you can begin working on right now.
Go to a local chiropractic
office and ask to observe for a day or so. Better yet, volunteer
to help out a couple of days a month. Most professionals (including
chiropractors) are very willing to share their time and expertise
with students.
You can make a positive contribution to
the chiropractor by giving your time, doing small tasks, and you
can learn at the same time.
Be sure to take mental notes while you’re
working: What do you like about the office, and the way the practice
is run? What do you not like?
Put your notes into a journal when you
return home, before you forget them. The notes (and experience)
will help you determine your future.
